1996 Ford F-350 XL 4x4 Description

Up for sale (by owner) is a very clean 1996 Ford F350 with the highly sought after Powerstroke 7.3l turbo diesel. Came from the factory with AC, Off road, and Camper packages. It has 4.10 gears with a factory limited slip rear end. I have an extensive list of repairs I have completed in my efforts to restore this rare truck. I purchased this truck from the original owner. Very clean inside and out and almost all original including original paint and glass. The exceptions being the upgraded seats, the added gauges, and a new turbo. (stock functioning turbo is included); it also has a 4 inch straight exhaust. Fairly low miles for this truck/motor combination and it feels like it has a lot of life left. Below is a list of some of the parts replaced over the last few years all installed by professional mechanics or the dealer. I will include original owners manual and window sticker with the sale of the truck.
New 235/85/16 Falken AT2 Tires, Rims, and Lug Nuts (5,000 miles on them)
New Mile Marker Manual Locking Hubs (1,000 miles on them)
New Grill and Headlight Surrounds
New Taillights
New Factory Ford Mechanical Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter
Oil Just Changed
New Heater Core
New Headlights
New Rear Sway Bar Bushings
New Monroe Shocks Front and Rear
New Rear Driveshaft U-joints and Center Carrier Bearing
New Strictly Diesel Oil Adapter Repair (Almost a must for these trucks)
Turbo replaced
Alternator replaced
Starter and glow plugs replaced
Brake master cylinder replaced
Re-manufactured Transmission completed by Ford Dealer. (Shifts are now on the firm side but the transmission has been bullet proof since the replacement).
Cons:
Headliner is starting to droop. Has the heavy duty overload springs in the rear which allows the truck to haul and tow nicely but rides stiff unloaded. Had a nickle sized crack in the front windshield (it has been fixed with a lifetime warranty but its still visible). Could use some front u-joints.
This is a very clean truck which gets a ton of attention and looks; but, it has been used for its intended purpose of towing/working so expect a few imperfections. (The last 4 pictures are of the greatest imperfections I could find). Overall though the condition of the truck is very nice for its age. Has been a California truck it's whole life. If you'd like to pay to have the truck looked over by your trusted mechanic that is fine. The truck is wired for trailer brake control and 5th wheel hookup but they are not included with the truck. It does have a heavy duty tow package and a new toolbox installed that will be included. I am not a dealer, the title is clear and in my name.
