2003 Ford F-250 XLT Description

This auction is for my 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty 3/4 Ton truck with the 6L Diesel Powerstroke V8. I bought this truck about a year ago to move my machine tools 100 miles, using a 16' utility trailer. I have completed the move, and am ready to let this truck go to someone who needs a serious work truck.
This truck is outstanding in every regard, but it is a work truck and has the little dings and scratches that you would expect. If you are looking for a heavy duty truck that you can have confidence in to get the job done, this is it, and hey, if you're like me, that's what is important. I bought this truck from Lewis Ford in Fayetteville, AR. The original 6L Diesel engine had been replaced by the previous owner, and I had Lewis Ford arrange to rebuild the front-end, and put new tires and side-mirrors on it before I took it home. (See photos for copies of all work receipts.) In addition,I had Lewis Ford's Certified Repair Facility replace the high-pressure oil pump and Bullet-Proof the diesel engine at the same time. The EGR cooler has been bypassed (EGR Delete) to eliminate the problems associated with the original factory design. Further, the Intercooler was replaced with a certified Ford replacement (new style), and various sensors and gaskets were replaced as well. This work was done by a Certified Ford Diesel Mechanic, in a certified Ford Repair Facility. (Please see receipts in photos.)
In addition to the engine work, I replaced the Horizontal Fuel Conditioner Module (fuel pump), and had the engine steam cleaned, all fluids replaced. The mechanic went completely through the diagnostics, and inspected the engine, and gave it a clean bill-of-health. Among the photos that I have uploaded, you will see the various receipts for work done by the Certified Ford Diesel Mechanic. This guy reworked this diesel right, and I have put over 3000 miles on the engine since that work, with zero issues. Also in the photos, I show you close ups of the little dings and scratches that prove this truck is tough and ready to work!
The Ford bed-liner is clean, but not perfect. Some of the paint chips on the body were touched up by the previous owner, but I will leave it to you to detail the truck to your level of perfection. Overall, the interior is very clean and in really good condition, with only a couple of minor issues. For example, the driver's seat plastic valance is cracked, and I taped it up with Black Gaffer's Tape, as you can see in the photos... it is a $100 part from the dealer if you want to replace it. Also, the arm rest cover on the driver's seat has a small tear in the fabric. So, bottomline, this truck is an excellent work truck with a straight body, no frame or body issues, a very good interior, and a bulletproofed engine. It is a 4X4 with new 10 ply tires, and it is ready to roll.
I do want to say that even pulling 4000lbs on my trailer, this beast has never lacked power on the hills, or to be able to pass when you need to.I have over $22,000 in the truck, with the purchase price and all of the work that has been done. However, now that I have moved my equipment, I no longer need this kind of power and hauling capacity. So, I want to sell this F250 Super Duty to someone who needs a serious truck at a really good price.
I am pricing this truck to sell with a fair Buy-It-Now or Best Offer. I am selling the truck As Is, so be certain to ask any questions that you have now. Please note:if you need a pristine show-truck, then I leave it to you to fix the minor cosmetic issues. However, if you need a serious truck, at a great price, let's get this done, and get you on down the road with the respect you deserve out on the highway.
I will accept Cash, or Cashier's Check, with a PayPal deposit due upon your positive decision to purchase. You will need to make arrangements to pick the truck up, or have The Hauler of your choice pick the truck up and deliver it to your location. The truck is available for pickup as soon as payment is complete, and I will forward the Title within 10 days of receipt of payment in full. Thanks for looking and please ask me any questions before buying!
