2000 Ford F-350 Lariat Description

One owner rust free Ford F350 crew cab LARIAT dually 7.3L 7.3 diesel powerstroke. Acquired from a gentlemen's multi-million dollar horse farm in affluent area 1 hour north of NYC. This vehicle was not driven in winters, it is 2wd. This vehicle has zero rust on door bottoms or cab corners. This truck was used to pull a small 5th wheel show horse trailer. It is a Lariat with full leather interior and equipped with a manual 6 speed transmission. Original 100,500 miles verified by CarFax. No accidents.

Condition clearly dictates this truck was pampered. Interior is immaculate. Exterior is excellent.

Engine compartment has all the plastic factory pieces and decals in place typically broken and removed by mechanics or blown off by power washing. The factory glow plug outlet is original and still has the original cover. I did not armor the engine compartment to make it prettier for this advertisement. The batteries are newer and it fires right up without any hesitation. Runs excellent. Recent oil change.

I owned the same year 2000 dually with 7.3 diesel. If you are reading this ad, you already know the abilities and capabilities of this drivetrain. This dually is complimented with the Lariat package, manual transmission, black on tan leather interior, low milage, original owner, 5th wheel set up, power windows, power driver’s seat,….

Interior is immaculate. No fading on plastic. Only some wear on driver's seat bottom and some discoloration on steering wheel. I did not dye the seats or attempt to dye the steering wheel to make it prettier for this advertisement. The carpeting was not shampooed to make it prettier for this listing because it simply clean. Factory Lariet carpet floor mats and factory rubber mats. No pet or smoking odors. Only the driver's power lock works. The other three doors locks most likely need actuators. They sell inexpensive aftermarket actuators on eBay but right now my mechanic is on vacation. I have the original dealer key chain, two original Ford keys and two original keyless entry remotes.

The exterior black paint is excellent, deep and shiny. There are no dents. I really only see a minor ping on hood. No deep scratches. No rust or attempts to paint and cover up damage/scratches. A few insignificant surface scratches NOT deep and very unnoticeable I just had to mention it. For a 100,500 miles 17 year old "work" truck, I'd say the body and paint are clearly excellent.

Unlike some other advertisements, I believe undercarriage photos are a necessity. Please look at bottom of tailgate no rust in weep holes or along bottom seem. Please look at cab corner and the bottom of cab seam no rust. There is zero rust on the door bottoms. I lifted the bed liner and there is no corrosion from trapped moisture between the original factory bed paint and DURALINER. I included multiple photos of truck floors and bed rails. The frame rails and some metal components show surface corrosion where factory undercoating wore off. I personally consider this surface corrosion. If you leave a leaf spring or a rear differential or frame in the Texas sun for 17 years, the sun's UV will fade the factory undercoating and the parts will develop surface corrosion after the first few years of rain. I left the undercarriage bare with no cover up. One swipe of a wire brush, compressed air to get dust off and a simple rattle can spray of Rustoleum will make undercarriage components look new. Most Ford 7.3 diesel truck listed here on eBay for over $20,000.00 appears to have been freshly painted underneath. It is impossible for a 17 year old factory original shock absorber and driveshaft to be solid black even in Arizona. If you take a hammer to the frame or spring perches no flakes or chips will fall. What you see in photos is not scale or any deep rust. Judge for yourself from photos.

The aluminum wheels present well but they do have some oxidation that will need refinishing to be new again. There are 6 matching expensive Michellin LTX tires with plenty of tread. The side walls show some hairline cracks. When I purchased tires for my RV I read many many reviews complaining that Michelin LTX's tires develop these cracks but it does not affect performance.

I also have the original clean NY title issued in February 2000 with no liens.

Pick up location is Tappan, NY 10983.

I require an immediate $500.00 (nonrefundable) PayPal deposit within 24 hours of auction closing and balance in cash upon pick up or bank wire within 7 days of auction closing. Will not release for pick up or to shipper until funds clear according to my Branch Manager at Chase or Wells Fargo. I will not wait for a buyer to get financing on a 17 year old vehicle. I will cooperate with your shipper’s schedule.

Please take a look at my feedback. I only sell clean cars/machines with HONEST descriptions. In 2017, I recently sold vehicles totaling approximately $48,000.00 all with positive feedback. I have described this truck as best I could. I highlighted notable flaws but you must understand this is a utility vehicle that was treated with class. I described it as if I were selling a garaged sports car. This was not an abused ranch work truck. This unit was maintained and stored properly and regularly detailed as evidenced by paint and interior.
