In 2011, Shelby American celebrated the 45th anniversary of the original Mustang-based GT350 by reintroducing the GT350. Although Shelby would soon offer other colors, the first new-generation GT350s, like the originals, were available only in white with blue stripes. That is where the similarities end, because the new-generation GT350 is literally four-and-a-half decades ahead in every way possible. Unlike the original 1965 classics, customers could choose from three different states of tune in the Mustang's 5.0L V-8, including a naturally aspirated 440 HP version and two supercharged versions rated at 525 HP and 624 HP.
