This is a 1969 F350 that has had the original 390 replaced by a Perkins 6.354 diesel. It also has a Spicer aux transmission installed (double under, direct, over). Certainly a unique vehicle to say the least.
Since I have owned it I have installed a new windshield gasket, had the injection pump rebuilt by Bradley's Diesel in Klammath Falls, replaced most of the front brakes minus hardlines and rotors, replaced the master cylinder, installed dual batteries, and general clean up, maintenance.
A vehicle in this shape always has room for improvement but it is driveable as is. Some of the most immediate needs are u-joints and tires. The wipers need looked at. The carpet could be replaced. The blinkers do not self cancel. The over head lights need replaced (have new set). It has a new CB that needs hooked up. I do have a new Firestik antenna for it too. The speedometer is hooked up to the brownie but not working, and the gas gauge is non-functional since it uses an external tank. It has 4.10s I believe but I know where a Dana 70 with 3.08s is in case you wanted to go that route. As it is now I get about a week of running around on $10-$15 of #2.
And I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff. Feel free to inquire if you interested in buying the truck.
