1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet
1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Description
1969 candy apple red Mach 1, real R code with automatic transmission, power steering, front power disk brakes and Marti Report. I purchased the car in October of 2009 from the second owner that bought the car in 1971. The car was completely stripped to bare metal, and then given a nut and bolt restoration, putting it back to factory original condition. The only metal that was replaced was the front section of the floor pans. All other body panels and the hood are original to the car. The car was sealed in epoxy primer before body work and painting in PPG base coat/clear coat. The underside was painted with correct red oxide epoxy primer/sealer. The 428 CJ engine and transmission are original to the car and both have the vin number stamped on them. (heads are date code correct, the originals were unusable). The engine was rebuilt to new condition by Keith Craft Racing, and run on their dyno at 417 hp. As you can see, the correct smog pump, carburetor, shaker, belts and hoses, clamps, etc. are correct. All suspension parts are new. The car looks as nice underneath as it does from above. A complete picture album and all invoices go with the car. I have only driven the car maybe 100 miles since the restoration was completed. I'm turning 70 years old in a few months and I would like to sell the car to someone that will enjoy having a show car. If you are close enough, please come by and see the car. I have a clear New Mexico title. Bid only if you can pay for it, and pick it up within 7 days of winning the bid. A $5,000.00 deposit is required within 24 hours if the reserve is meet. Call me at 575 626-0683.
