1931 Model A hot rod 383 stroker turbo 350 Ford 9 inch ChopTop American Graffiti
1931 Ford Model A Description
I own a restoration shop and this is a car I am selling for a customer. This is a really nice older built 1931 model A. It is all Ford metal and very straight. It was chopped and channeled and done very well. I am guessing it was built in the 1980's and looks like it's gone 3192 miles since then. The doors shut tight and there are no rattles. It has a very solid feel to it. The door windows roll up and down and the windshield still pushes out for fresh air. The interior is tuck and roll and very comfortable. The headliner is smooth. Everything matches and was well done.
It is powered by a 383 cubic inch stroker with 2X4's and runs perfect. It starts up hot or cold and never overheats. The transmission is a built Turbo 350 and doesn't leak and shifts well. It is faster than hell but still idles nicely for cruising. It does ride well and goes where you point it, none of the "all over the road" stuff. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 3.42 gears and positraction. Ladder bar and coil over shocks. Front is straight axle with disc brakes. Offered with no reserve.
To see and drive the car or if you have any questions or need certain photos, call Bruce or Skyler at 916-652-6852 weekdays. We are about 15 miles east of Sacramento just off highway 80 going towards Reno.
