Pick up the Phone and Call! 702-353-7500 I do NOT Answer EMAILS Requesting Price Quotes Before you send me that awful question, "what's your reserve or bottom line", let's take a moment to explain market values and how to get a deal on eBay. There isn't any accurate "Book Value" from the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide on a truck like this. Figures both selling and buying for cars like this are subjective in nature and the only number that counts, if you are the seller, is the one from a serious buyer that makes you an offer. Over 29 years in thebusiness, dealers like myself, buy and sell by looking at what the rarity is and how difficult it may be to find such a unique vehicle like this one. Do I have an asking price? Sure, I posted that Buy it Now Price that I think reflects the condition and rareity of that and how difficult it would be to find such an outstanding truck like this, but that number will have nothing to do with what you may offer whether that's higher or lower. That is why we sell exclusively on eBay and at other reputable sites. The numbers or offers come from the buyers that are serious and just like me, make their own minds up as to what they are willing to spend. We arehere to sell cars. With fourteen yearsexclusivelyon eBay and perfect feedback, it's obvious we do. Real buyers with serious offers in mind, either bid and they almost always call us. They almost always want to talk to the person in charge; that's me. I want to talk to you too and help you own this awesome vehicle. It keeps me in business. So, if you want a fantastic vehicle like you see here, one that is far above the average in condition, serviced and documented like this, simply call. Asking through email for my bottom line? Well, I just think you're not too serious or willing to make an offer; makes it a waste of my time and yours. If you just want to know what the market value is, do what we do, look atthe vehicle closely and try to find another just like it with similar rarity and documentation. If you can't find one, just decide what it is worth to you to own it. That is what I did and all we can hope for is that you offer a bit more than I did so I can stay in business. Most important though, since you "are" a serious and capable buyer, call me and let's talk. I don't wear a Plaid Coat, I don't talk really fast and I am the guy in charge, the owner, enthusiast and purveyor of some of the finest cars on the internet...not to mention the best thorough presentations. Let's talk...Call me Doug 702-353-7500 Oh my goodness, where do I even start? Well, that's easy on this truck. This 1997 Ford F250 Super Duty XLT Super Cab with the monster 460 cubic inch V8 looks and drives like new. I have been in the car business as a collector, enthusiast and dealer for nearly 30 years... I have appraised vehicles of all types, rare ones, restored ones and fully original vehicles and I know what I am looking at. My job here will be to disclose to you, my buyer, the absolutely incredible condition both cosmetically and functionally that this great truck is in. Let's start at the obvious...the exterior. Immpecable! I don't use that word lightly either. I am not one of those fast talking guys that overstates and under delivers...the body on the truck is as near to brand new looking as it gets. The original paint finish is in stunning condition without fade, repaint, scratches or dents. I can never say flawless, I counted I think five tiny chips on the entire truck, most on the tailgate that are barely visable. The nose, doors, hood side panels are all spectacular. The chrome trim, spectacular, the rubber, absolutely great, the glass, beautiful, the headlights and signals have no fade, the shell has no fade, the tires (Michelins) are like new, the bumpers un touched and perfect. Even the running boards are about like new looking. Believe me when I suggest to take your time starring at every picture below to see just how incredible this truck is. If grading is what you like to hear, 10 being perfect on the exterior, then I will confidently grade this truck's exterior at a 9.98...NO BS! Yes, you heard me right. 1997 Ford F250 Super Duty XLT Super Cab 2wd 460 ci V8 VIN: 1FTHX25G5VEA51102 Showing on Odometer: 120,742 (exempt) Engine: 7.5 L FI V8 engine Transmission: Automatic Exterior: White with SeaFoam Green Interior: Grey Cloth Build Date; 10/96 Over 171 high resolution pictures below. These trucks were designed and built to be work horses for the modern man and woman. That usually meant, that about three years in, the truck would have a 100k miles on it and be beat to death nearly...that was a majority of the Super Duty trucks, but there would always be those that keep there trucks pretty nice and about ten years in, they would have 100k on them and painted once or twice an new transmission because they pulled that 40 foot fifth wheelk around the country twice a year for family vacations and the rest of the time the truck sat out side because it was too big for the garage...you all know who I am talking about...99.99% of all those who bought these trucks. But, here it is...you are looking at the .01% of the owners that bought these trucks that had garages that were big enough, only drove them around 6000 miles a year, avoided driving behind ANY big rigs so they didn't get a single rock chip in the fornt end and never towed anything the whole time they owned it...and on top of all that...kept the truck for over 20 years...Talk about a needle in the hay stack. Oh, did I mention that no matter how many miles they drove, they always serviced the truck, made sure brakes were like brand new and had to have the best tires one the market for their truck...yeah, that was this guy...this truck is serious freaky clean top to bottom. Extreme quality condition mechanically and cosmetically, ZERO rust or faulty components. That is all I want from my cars, 100% ready to be appreciated and enjoyed by their new owners. I can give you my opinion of this great vehicle or you may already have one, but I can tell you, this truck matches up with the highest quality original trucks that you may ever find. Is it flawless, NO... I wish I could say it was, but I am a realist...when you get down to the interior pictures, even though most will say, MY GOD THAT'S NICE...I will tell you that it could be better. I just wish the interior was as perfect as the exterior is and the drivetrain. Enjoy the next few pictures of the exterior and I will resume at the interior so I can share my thoughts there and my assessment. So there it is...OK..go ahead and say it...OH MY GOODNESS! Yes, it is extremely nice for 20 years...but not perfect. The plastic side covering on the seat is broken but stays in place as you can see...maybe some JB Weld could fix it up..not bad...the center console has a single removable cup holder that is missing...ok...find one eventually on eBay or NOS from a dealer. Big Deal! The only thing I did not like about the interior and that just because of my lifestyle, the orginal owner was a smoker. He wasn't one that was to clean about his smoking habit either. There are a handfull of tiny burn...(not all the way through) on the seat where the ash landed between his legs...a few on the carpet mostly heading towards the ash tray and a bit of soot/smell that just seems to linger in the truck. So if you are a smoker, this won't be a big deal...and if you are not a smoker, it still isn't that bad, it just not as perfect in here as the exterior would have you believe it is. But she is all there, no rips, no tears, no cracks in the dash, the leather wrapped steering wheel has had the cover on since new. The air conditioning blow cold, the radio works, the tanks work, everything works like it should...Power seats, windows and locks...all great. Now you are probably thing I am pretty ridiculous for making you think the interior was rough...no far from it. For a 20 year old truck, it's again probably the best I have ever seen unless it was retored to new...this is all original in here and it's fantastic. The Beast 7.5L 460ci Fuel Injected V8 245 horse power & 410 lb.ft torque 8800# GVWR ' The Rear End Tag for those who want to figure that out Brake Pads like new A note from the owner. I am a “used car dealer” but before that, I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I’ve been in business, have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles. I specialize in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners. I have an experienced eye for quality but I’ve discovered that my preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the bidder, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won’t do much for you either and I would soon be out of business. With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may at first glance appear. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner and Chris, owner of A-Best Auto Repair in Henderson, Nevada has my back. He and his crew can fix anything; from a low budget beater to the absolute most expensive exotic you can name, no job is too big and no small detail unimportant. They do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it allows my writer to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless he thinks it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction. After the vehicle is fully sorted it arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious eye of Tom, my writer that creates the presentations you see on eBay. He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else tells him about the car as he combs over every inch, researches its history and documents originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I’ve developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take several days and I’ve converted a paint booth, especially prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each car lovingly receives. Usually, I’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many “dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We do. No “dealer,” on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase, that my vehicle is for real and what I say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it. If you have any questions at all, please call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offer serious, you’ll find me the most accommodating business partner you’ve ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or “what is my bottom line” I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually pull the trigger, I will happily quote you the absolute highest nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find – a number we both know will not buy the car so, don’t waste your time, or mine. I am after all, a “used car dealer.” Serious buyers know the maximum they can offer. I then must simply decide if I can sell for that number. If you hit the reserve, the decision is no longer mine. I must sell at that number.
