INTERIOR IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION. EVERYTHING WORKS. IT IS VERY CLEAN WITH NO RIPS, TEARS OR EVEN SIGNS OF WEAR ON THE SEATS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE CUT ON THE DRIVERS SEAT BOTTOM. CARPET IS ALSO IN GREAT SHAPE. REAR SEATS LOOK LIKE THEY'VE NEVER BEEN SAT IN. DOORS CLOSE GREAT WITH NO SAG. POWER WINDOWS DON'T STRUGGLE TO OPEN/CLOSE.
MECHANICALLY THE CAR IS IN GREAT SHAPE AS WELL. I DRIVE IT AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE (mileage will be slightly higher) AND IT IS PROBLEM FREE. IT DOES NOT LEAK ANY FLUIDS, SMOKE OR SHAKE. IT DRIVES JUST LIKE IT DID NEW IN 92! ITS A BLAST TO DRIVE AND TURNS HEADS EVERYTIME I TAKE IT OUT. CLUTCH IS GREAT, GRABS PERFECTLY, NO SLIP OR GRINDS. MOTOR IS VERY STRONG
EXTERIOR: THE PAINT IS THE ORIGINAL PAINT - ONE OF 2,788 - THERE CANT BE MANY REMAINING WITH NO ACCIDENT HISTORY, ROOF, LEATHER, MANUAL TRANS AND THE FACTORY PAINT. BEING THE ORIGINAL 25 YEAR OLD PAINT WITH 122k MILES IS DOES HAVE SOME FLAWS, ITS NOT SHOWROOM BUT ITS CLOSE. THERE ARE MINOR SCRATCHES AND CHIPS FROM USE. IT PRESENTS ITSELF VERY WELL BUT IS IS A USED CAR. WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE.
THERE IS NO RUST OR ROT ANYWHERE. FLOORS, FRAME, STRUT TOWERS ARE ALL PERFECT.
THE CAR STILL HAS MOST IF NOT ALL OF ITS FACTORY PRODUCTION TAGS AND MARKINGS ALL WELL!
IT WAS CLEARLY VERY WELL CARED FOR.
The car has never been hit. The only paintwork is the rear bumper, done last week, to repair clearcoat peel. Everywhere else is 1992 ford paint and it looks fantastic.
I DRIVE THIS CAR ALOT, ALMOST DAILY DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO DRIVE IT ANYWHERE. VERY RELIABLE, VERY FUN. TURN THE KEY AND GO.
Quirks (all very minor):
Tach does not work correctly. (all other gauges are working properly)
Headliner is starting to sag in places
Rear hatch does not stay up on its own.
Could use weatherstripping in places, not bad, just aged.
center console is missing the grey top trim. Lid is there.
foglight covers missing
new battery, oil change, tires. It is road ready. Solid and smooth driving. Starts easily every time.
Turn the key and go.
