The427Ris abalanced driver's car - its not just powerful, it handles and shifts better than the ShelbyGT500. Actually, it has a split personality (in a good way). Its very tame and easy to drive when just cruising, but punch the pedal and you'd better hang on - power is abundant and immediate.

The 427R is based on the legendary Roush Stage 3 Mustang. With a few less bells and whistles than the Stage 3, the 427R originally sold for a bit less - but the 427R actually has more power than the Stage 3, thanks to a freer-flowing exhaust system. This car is rated at 427 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque (+12 hp and +6 lb-ft over the Stage 3).
