1966 Mercury M-100 not 1966 Ford F-100
1966 Ford F-100 Description
This is a rare find indeed. Mercury has been building cars and trucks for years. Here in the United States you could only buy the cars. The trucks were only produced in Canada through 1968. This truck is identical to its counterpart the Ford F-100. This truck has been freshly painted with Caribbean Turquoise and Wimbledon White. The bed of the truck was sprayed with the same colors but we used a rough liner in the paint. The interior was done on a previous restoration and still looks quite nice. The carpet is showing its age and has a few tears. The engine is a 390 v8 and the transmission is a 4 speed. This is a very nice driver and gets lots of attention due to its rarity here in the U.S. People who do not know will argue "Mercury never made a truck", they will be wrong.
