1990 Ford Mustang Convertible 7UP limited edition 25th Anniversary
1990 Ford Mustang Description
Bought this car for my wife in 2003 it had 76,000, she averaged about 1000 miles each summer, the car now has 88,000 miles. The car has never seen snow and has no rust, it's not perfect but all of the scuffs and nicks were on the car when we purchased it. It runs and drives good, new battery last year. Great little convertible and possibly could be a collectable in the near future. Since the car is over 25 years old you can get a historic/classic plate and insurance is much cheaper. Additionally, the NADAs value of this car is: $6,765 low retail; $8,442 average retail; and $11,990 high retail.
The 7-UP namesake / connection came from a promotion that was supposed to happen at the 1990 NCAA basketball finals. The 7-UP Bottling Company was to give away thirty of these cars to audience members making a basket from half court. Due to time constraints, the contest was canceled at the last minute; hence the name "7-Up" mustang. Full production of these cars began February 2, 1990 with the final car being built May 29, 1990. Only 4,103 of these cars were built, with 1,360 as 5-Speeds and 2,743 as automatics (this is one!). The 7-up Mustang's emerald green metallic paint (code PA), 15" GT aluminum wheels, and white top/leather Interior are a few key differences between other Mustang models.
