ENGINE (289 cubic inch) – Removed engine to clean and paint it.Changed to 4 barrel carburetor, added new intake manifold and camshaft.New wiring harness.New timing chain.New engine mounts.New air cleaner. New electronic ignition (Pertronix distributor).
TRANSMISSION (C4 automatic) – Overhauled by AAMCO during restoration.New transmission mount and oil cooler lines.
ENGINE BAY – Cleaned and repainted. All wiring in engine bay is new.Installed new voltage regulator, battery, battery tray and horns.
The paint is okay.It looks nice for driving around, but it needs to be sanded and painted to be a true show car.The interior is in good shape but it needs a new headliner and the dashboard should be repainted and the dash pad replaced. The front seat is a bench seat (rare for a Mustang but nice when riding with a friend). Also, I really don't know the mileage. The odometer says 12800.
