1958 Ford F-100 Custom Description

1958 Ford F100 Factory Short Wide Bed 2WD.

This truck was restored 12 years ago, sat in a collection until I bought it. I bought it for a customer to do additional work to, for his son, well wife said no, so now it's my truck and up for sale. I go into detail in the video, please watch it and view all the extra pictures, they are part of the item description. Much easier to articulate condition in video vs text. The truck runs/drives now, needs a few things to be a great daily driver and show vehicle.

MECHANICAL

Mild performance build 351 Cleveland, 4 barrel carb, aluminum intake. C6 automatic transmission. Compression and leak down tested motor, came out excellent.

BODY

Excellent paint job done 12 years ago base/clear wet sanded hugger orange. Couple imperfections noted on video. New glass, seals, window tracks, chrome parts and other repop parts throughout.

Finding factory short bed trucks are getting very hard, hence all the companies popping up doing conversions. This is a great start to put some time and money in, and have a sweet tuck for not a whole lot of money. If you are looking for something to complete and not have over 20k total into it, this may be your truck, doing a full frame off resto on a core truck to pristine quality can get you 50k plus easily. This truck high books for 54k NADA, so there is plenty of room to invest and be safe. I do not have any shop time to do additional work to this vehicle, it got pulled out of line, I have several others in restoration, thanks.

I will sell the truck to the 1st local or long distance buyer willing to pay $12,500 firm. I've sold a lot of cars on eBay, ½ the time the buyer does not come through and eBay does not return fees, so after loosing thousands over the years, I go with the 1st guy/gal that pays for the truck. I accept bank to bank wire transfer to my US Bank business account or cash in person only. I have a clear/clean WA state title in hand in my wife's name. I have an excellent shipping broker whom I can put you in contact with, quote from my broker for the buyer only, plenty of options to get ball park quotes through ebay or on the web.. The truck and papers only leave my property when payment is made in full and cleared. I'm a licensed vintage auto appraiser, I find no offense in you hiring someone like me to inspect this truck during not after the auction. Thanks!
