1965 Ford Mustang A-code Fastback
1965 Ford Mustang Description
Originally a black on black A-code 4 barrel 4 speed.
The goal of the just completed restoration was to be able to enjoy all the original Mustang charm with total reliability. In other words, all the joy and none of the hassle.
The restoration was not an "as time permits" garage activity, it was handled by professionals with correspondingly professional results. To start the car was media blasted and all sheet metal repaired or replaced, there is absolutely no rust remaining. This part of the project was done by Kertz Fabrication in California. The body work and paint was done by Ken's Custom Autobody in California (known as streetrodpainter to the Factory Five Cobra crowd). Final restoration was done by Mustang Corral in California, with decades of Mustang expertise.
