2013 Ford Explorer AWD Police Interceptor
2013 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Description
2013 Ford Explorer 4 DOOR AWD BLACK / BLACK Police Interceptor
In April of 2017 we purchased this 2013 Ford Explorer from our local town's Police Department. We removed all of the emergency lighting from the vehicle, removed partition, removed all police needed wiring from vehicle. Re installed door locks, and power windows to be used to the rear. Installed a NEW center console. Installed dash center console with Cig outlets. Installed New rubber mat for the rear trunk. New floor mats.
The doors were once white along with the rear hatch. The vehicle had damage to the right head lamp bucket, right fender and lower front bumper cover. We replaced all three parts and stripped the vehicle down to have a fresh coat of black paint put on. We also had a heavy coat of clear installed. The car has had new radiator hoses installed within the last year, a brand new battery in March 2017, an upper motor mount. I have the service records from day one on this vehicle as we have been the primary repair shop since it went into service in 2013. Oil changes have been done on time, brakes, tires, regular service was always completed. The tires that are currently on the vehicle are Firestone Fire hawk Pursuit Tires, they have more than half the tread left. Not a cheap tire.!
BRAKES 4/32 FRONT REAR 7/32
TIRES 8/32 ALL.
This is a two row Five Passenger vehicle. Buckets up front, a bench in the rear. It's AWD. ALL WHEEL DRIVE, it has just 45,000 miles on it. It's a police interceptor, so it does have the 3.7 Liter in it. Only the Police Interceptor has this engine by Ford. I welcome anyone that wants to see it in person, take a test drive or view it on a lift.
