1930 Ford Model A Description
1930 Ford Model A Hot Rod / Rat Rod Military Tribute
Located in Raynham, MA. This Model A is a hybrid cross between a hot rod and a rat rod. Couldn't have been done any more tastefully. 6" chop from stock. Most of this truck is customized. However, it will be delivered with a clear Maine 1930 Model A title. The title serial number matches the tag on the frame.
It was my plan from the start to make this truck a keeper. Unfortunately, I am 6'1" and it's just a bit too uncomfortable for me. My 12 year old is heartbroken. Of all the vehicles I've had over the years, this is his favorite and the one that has given him the 'bug.' Otherwise, this would be in my collection for years to come. It's by far the nicest looking custom Model A pickup I've seen. When it's parked in my driveway, people actually pull over and take pictures with it - every day.
I've uploaded two videos to YouTube:

[isdntekvideo] Here are the specs:
- Body is all steel. Not an ounce of rust or rot other than what's seen on the pics on the inside and that's by design.
- Jasper 350 Chevy 2-Piece Rear Seal Small Block with mild cam
- TH350 Automatic with Lokar Floor Shifter
- Edelbrock 1406 Caburetor w/ Electric Choke
- Custom 2x3 Z-Frame, boxed all the way around.
- Custom Paint, 2 Stage - Left the light runs and heavy orange peel by design.
- Graphic and lettering are all air brushed. Airbrushing was done over the basecoat/clearcoat with a light clearcoat on top of that. So all graphics can be wet sanded off without affecting the green finish. Even the "rust" is airbrushed.
- 4-Link Rear w/ height adjustable coilovers
- Autometer Gauges - All work
- Radius Rod front suspension
- New Radial Tires all the way around
- Drums all the way around - Can easily be converted to discs
- CPP Vega Steering Gear
- Door are suicided with bear claw type latches
- Front windshield is lexan. No door glass. No rear glass.
- Laker style headers.
- Chevy 10 bolt rear end
- Bear Claw style door latches.
The truck doesn't leak a drop. It's loud. The seats themselves are very comfortable and there are seat belts, but you really must be less than 6'1" to comfortably drive it.
The little customized touches on this truck are so cool and tastefully done. The door handles are practice hand grenades. The front turn signals are flashing machine guns. The rear taillights are made to look like bazookas. The third brake light/rear hazard flasher is a skull with red led eyeballs that illuminate. The truck is an open canvas for you to add your own personal touches.
Get in and drive. Just don't be too tall!
