I am now offering up this nearly mint condition 78 Ford coupe. It runs and drives excellent. Almost like a new car. It has very view minor cosmetic flaws. I tried to pick the photos of the areas that show the condition. the trunk is amazing with the original felt in like new condition - the cardboard corner supports are perfect. the spare tire is perfect. Its a total time capsule. It has a lot of new parts - shocks, brakes, tuneup parts, altenator, starter, battery, battery cables, brand new tires on the original steels wheels and hubcaps, filters and more. It is pretty much ready to go cross country the way it is. there are of course no guarantees that it will not have something arise that needs attention. But the engine trans axle brakes shocks steering all is good and tight as to be expected..
The wheels shown oon it are sold, but for the starting price will include a set of 15x7 or 15x7/15x8.5 turbine style or slot mags custom restored by DVW for the same look as in the photos. We can work that out after the sale. I want to get you a set that you love on it.
In the last year I have not used it. I had hoped to have more time to take it to car shows and cruises this summer and last spring. But I have not. I did not even have time to take to the Dream Cruise. I would rather see it with a new owner that continue to sit still as it has being stored the last 9/10 months. It has sat dormant only to be started up and driving a couple miles every couple months since last October and bringing it to Michigan. It was stored all winter and never saw a salted snowy road or even a wet road. It has started without a jump start after sitting for 3 months all winter and since started about once a month. It does not smoke or have any ticks or tocks or leak any fluid. It is a pretty solid straight driving car all around in amazing condition for a 40 year old ride.
