1934 Ford Other Pickups origional Description

This truck started out as a 1923 c-cab car manufactured by Spirit Industries in Arkansas. It included new boxed frame with chrome dropped front axle, fiberglass body, chrome stabilizer bars front and rear, disk brakes front and rear, and set up with ford rear.I bought the assembled car from Kendall Johnson customs in Winston-Salem NC thru an ebay auction . They installed a chevy 383 small block stroke, and automatic transmission, flaming river steering column, dolphin gauges, lokar shifter, electric fuel pump, aluminum fuel cell, aluminum radiator, and what was needed to get the car running. When I brought it home I realized how tight the cab was, and imagined it with a truck body.I found the 1934 ford body, bed and grille shell on ebay in Maine( i have the bill of sale on it, brought it home and it has taken a few year, lots of fabrication and dollars to bring it to where it is.Three body shops have worked on it (I don't have a garage, just a Danzer box storage traile, with 6 " fram, that could be purchased separately if so desired) The truck now has fibreglass fenders by speedway on front, extended steel running boards, and xtra wide rear fibreglass fenders by Speedway, that could be easily removed at new owners choice.Installed recently is a new edelbrock cam,2 brand new holley carbs, world heads, new msd ignition package from Summitt (distributor, and coil, pro billet wires, new cvs vaccumn pump for brakes from summitt. A weiand tunnel ram intake, sanderson headers tied to smitty glasspac mufflers. All new glass by vintage glass, lots of trim pieces by Macs Ford parts. New billet gauge panel in dash and new dolphin gauges .This truck is very fas, and light in weight .I've driven the truck to a few car shows ( about 200 miles total ) it runs and drives and stops well....buyer should be mechanically inclined to finish it out to his likeing.Set up for bed of choice by new owner The truck will be sold as is, where it is,no shipping included,no written or expressed warrantees It is titled as a 1923 ford wagon in NJ, with the Spirit Industries manufacturers vin # on frame .this vehicle has over $ 20,00.00 invested in it to date.
