  • Alcoa wheels

  • 31-spline 8.8-inch rear end

  • White face gauges
  • Dark headliner

Second owner. Purchased it from a friend in Canada, and then imported it here. I am a little OCD when it comes to vehicles, so in addition to all maintenance and replacements I will also disclose everything that I know is less than perfect. Last winter (about 500 miles ago), I replaced the following:
  • Both lower control arms
  • Both sway bar links
  • All shocks and shocks mounting hardware (front and back) with Bilstein - Level II models came with Bilstein from factory
  • Rear drums, pads, pistons and all springs and hardware
  • Rear seals and bearings
  • Rear differential fluid (replaced with OEM fluid, including the OEM friction modifier)
  • Brake fluid flushed
  • Oil change (at the dealership)
  • Alignment performed
  • New tires
  • New headlights (the old were too cloudy)
  • New step bars (Westin)
  • Windshield wipers

I’ve also replaced all speakers, and installed new head unit with Bluetooth and HD radio. Also added a small 4x50W Alpine amp behind the unit to power the speakers. It doesn’t sound like BOSE but it is good enough for a truck. The truck also has 2-way remote start (Compustar) with a range up to ½ mile. I have receipts for everything that was replaced/added.
It comes with the manual, one 2-way remote, one 1-way remote, 3 keys.
The bad:
  • The driver seat is damaged/worn out. See the pictures.
  • The driver side door lock cylinder does not work.
  • Few spots that were hand sprayed with touch up spray. Beats me why as I do not see any damage underneath.
  • The rear window was broken and the insurance replaced it with a non-tinted one.
  • Usual ford ranger rust spots. Nothing excessive or obvious but it is there. No perforation – it’s just on the surface.
  • Few dings here and there. Nothing major, but it is 10 years old truck, so that is expected.
  • The armrest is broken
  • It's missing the fuse cover - passenger side foot well.

The truck runs like new. There are no leaks of any kind, all maintenance is up to date, the suspension is brand new, the rear brakes, bearing and seals are also brand new. No bizarre rattles, squeaks, vibrations or odd behavior. The tires are brand new. The limited slip differential operates as it should and so does the 4 wheel drive. I am selling it because I no longer need a work truck, or do any off-roading. I used it last summer for my house renovation but that’s all done and I see no reason to keep it.
I realize my price is above KBB. It is because of all the work I have done to it. Perhaps you can find cheaper truck, but it will not be a LEVEL II, or if it is - it will not have brand new suspension, tires, rear seals and bearings, rear brakes (including brake cylinders and hardware).
