2001 Ford Excursion Limited Description

2001 Ford Excursion Limited. Very nice appearance and mechanical condition. 4x4 which functions well. Truck runs and shifts very smoothly. It is currently my daily driver and has been for a year. Just looking for something slightly smaller that is more suitable for my wife to drive. Truck has 143k+ miles on it and may go up slightly as I still drive it on a daily basis. It is tan leather Limited package with Estate Green exterior with tan trim. Tires are very new with only about 10k miles on them. They should last another 50K. Truck drives very nice at highway speed or around town. I have installed a Pioneer DVD touch screen stereo with remote that has bluetooh connection for hands free phone calls and streaming of music. I have also updated the grille and headlights as well as taillights to a more modern look as you can see. It's a GREAT truck overall.
Few small blemishes as follows as I want to be a truthful with you as possible.

• The black area where the handle is on the rear lift glass has some clear coat flaking.
• A little rust above running board on back drivers side which is not very visible unless you are looking for it. Much cleaner than most Excursions of this year
• The rear door power locks need repair. I have always just locked and unlocked manually if I had the kids with me, but I can repair prior to new owner taking possession.
• Steering wheel wrap is kind of blackworn leather on top under the cover I have on it. I was going to get a new stitch on leather steering wheel cover, just never got around to it.
• Small chip in windshield which has been repaired and has never done any expanding in the time I've had it.
• Wheels have typical small amount of aluminum corrosion in spots, typical of clear coated aluminum but still shine up fairly nicely.
• Carpet and mats need a good shampooing but I will have it professionally detailed prior to new owner taking possession. We have a local detail shop that makes interiors look amazing!

I think I've covered everything I can think of. I tried to point out the little things as this is a very nice looking and driving truck. Much nicer than most excursions out there! I highly recommend the owner come and test drive, check over, and or pick up as I want you to be happy with what you are getting and KNOW what you are getting. It is, of coarse, a 16 year old truck, but shows and performs very well for its age! Payment in form of wire transfer or cash on pick up with a $500 deposit due within 24 hours via paypal, no exceptions.
