2008 Ford F-250 XL Description

Here is a 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty with the 6.4 Diesel motor. This is a nice truck but has seen work use. Please do not expect a show truck, this isn't it and shouldn't be, since it is a diesel. This was a fleet vehicle that I purchased from a dealer. Maintenance history is unknown from the company that owned it prior to the dealer but was a Texas company from the Carfax. This is a nice running 6.4 that starts right up and has no check engine lights. However, from being in other diesel trucks this one is in need of some repairs to be 100% and sooner than later. Since it was a fleet vehicle, it is a completely stock 6.4. If you are reading and looking at this, you know that is not a good thing. This truck needs to have an EGR and DPF delete to ensure longevity as well as a programmer immediately. It also has an exhaust leak that I have started to notice developing, causing power loss. I can also see a class I and II leak developing for oils, so I would imagine gaskets need replacing as well. If you are a mechanic, know diesel, or own a shop this is a hell of a buy for you. I've taken the fact that in needs some work to be 100% in the price. Keep in mind all used vehicles and trucks have issues. I happen to just be honest and know everything wrong with the truck.
This truck just needs that little maintenance and it could run for a life time and will be a very nice truck. I do not have the time to commit bringing this truck to full potential. I already have another truck in use and don't need this one any longer. The truck has seen proper usage and mileage is accurate with a clean Carfax. Truck has been southern run and has no rust underneath, unlike other trucks on here. The truck has a proper mileage to hour ratio as well. The truck has averaged about 30 MPH for every hour of usage on the engine, so no long idling periods killing the motor. Interior is pretty clean for a work truck but has no fancy features, just the pure basics. Could use a professional detail and would look great. Outside of the truck is in line with one that is in work. Has some dings, dents, and scratches. Paint work is somewhat poor. Any portions that were scratched or dented have been spray painted over and makes truck look kind of sloppy. A new paint job would do the truck well. One photo shows scratching where company signs have been removed and painted over. Truck recently passed Texas vehicle inspection. Vehicle tires are ok and have life left, brakes are good.
As you can hopefully tell, I am an honest seller trying to disclose all I know about this truck.
