1928 Ford Model A touring car barn find stored 33 years
1928 Ford Model A Touring car Description
I now have a clear Florida Title in my name. The head on the engine had a large "B" cast in it. This denotes a high compression police head. Normal compression was 4.2:1. This head is 5.2:1. Supposedly good for an additional 7-10 hp.
This is a fresh out of the barn, 1928 Ford Model A touring car. It has been sitting for 33 years. It only took minor tinkering to get it running driving and most importantly stopping. It has the typical rust issues in the bottom of the cowling. Otherwise a really sound car. All doors open and close as they should. The passenger side front door does not close as snug as the others but I feel it's just an adjustment. Surprisingly it has no oil or water leaks. I do think the radiator will need some attention though. Tires are dry rotted so I've only been able to yard drive. It shifts as it should and stops the same. With new tires and a carb rebuild it can drive as is. Interior looks like a amateur home brew job but is serviceable. It comes with jack, jack handle and crank handle. It has a full set of side curtains. Mice have gotten into them so they're only good as patterns. Please ask all questions before acting.
