1963 Ford F100 Unibody Short Bed Truck Custom Chassis Big Block
1963 Ford F-100 Description
A bit of history for those that aren't familiar with Ford unibody trucks. Many people have never seen one! In 1961 Ford took the bold step of combining cab body and bed into one piece which had never been done before resulting in a very interesting vehicle. The production run only lasted 2 1/2 years because farm customers tended to overload them causing the body to warp making the doors difficult to open and close. Today these very rare and unique trucks, especially the short beds, are highly prized by hot rodders and car customizers. Just look at what's on the cover of the current issue of Street Trucks magazine as proof.
$25,000 worth of retro-mod fabrication work on this F100 unibody has been completed and it is ready to move on to the next stage of the build. Yes that is original paint. The patina screams "keep me" but the play book is still wide open on it. This body is nice and straight, RUST FREE and with no evidence of collision damage. Below is a list of the work that has been completed:
Frame has been C-notched and prepared for air ride.
Camaro front clip has been installed.
A 454 mockup motor with 700R4 goes with it but it is NOT TOO LATE TO GO WITH FORD POWER.

My take on this truck is that in this condition and with this patina it is a $10,000 truck with $25,000 worth of fabrication work done on it!We paid $10,000 then put over $25,000 worth of work into it. I am selling it in order to turn stuff into cash that I may never get to. We don't have enough time to work on it, nor do we have room to store it any longer. Our loss is your gain!
I feel pretty stupid for listing it at this price but I need room and cash. I have several other cars and trucks for sale so if one of the others sells first I reserve the right to cancel this auction. Vehicle is located in Arlington WA near to Seattle zip code 98223.
