2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Description
We purchased the 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac in August of 2007 for safe transport to work and long distance work trips. The Sport Trec has been parked in a garage nightly for much of its life. This truck has been especially reliable using 4-wheel drive over winter months.
A number of improvements have been added to the truck the last two years totalling over $10,200. They include:
3/12/2015 -- Replaced wheel hub and bearing (front, right side), fog lamp (left) -- $798.948/20/2016 -- Replaced disc rotor (rear, both), wheel hub and bearing (front, left side), transmission assembly -- $5,597.479/10/2016 -- Replaced thermostat and radiator -- $1,552.211/01/2017 -- Replaced battery and windshield wipers -- $93.76
1/21/2017 -- Last oil change at mile 152,5573/12/2017 -- New Tires -- $685.385/18/2017 -- Replaced spark plugs and coils -- $1,479.40
All receipts are included with the sale.
Disclosure of imperfections:
- Crack in the front bumper (driver side) -- slightly noticeable
- Chip in the windshield (passenger side) -- filled by window repair tech in 2007
- The ignition switch sometimes sticks after starting the vehicle but does not impact performance so I've not fixed it -- mechanic says $200 to replace starter
Overall, the vehicle is in excellent condition. The vehicle has been professionally maintained to factory recommendations.
