1953 Ford Customline V-8 flathead engine with duel exhaust sounds very nice, three speed standard shift with overdrive. The miles on the car are correct. (44,000 miles) Original interior check out pictures. Runs very nice and smooth. It has the original owners manual. It has sat now for the last 6 years. Time for someone else to enjoy. Before we quit driving we took a 1,200 trip with no problems. Car is not perfect but I'm not asking the perfect price. We have owned the car for about 20 years and keep it in a heated garage. From the time we bought the car if we fill the gas tank we get a gas smell, so we only put in half a tank or so. The rear window has to be sealed, the glass co. said $220.00 to reseal. Radio works great, I have a rebuild clock to install, but because of my health I can't do it. It would take less than an hour to install. Right now I have the car out of storage and start it everyday. The interior is very good condition. But if you look close at the pictures you will see some wear on the drivers side seat. Must transport if you are the winning bidder.
On Jun-09-16 at 06:44:08 PDT, seller added the following information:In addition to the frame is as solid as new, but does have one cross member that has been patched and a three small holes, one floor (very small)and two on the inside of rocker panel. The way it is will last for many years if you don't drive in the snow and salt. I was asked about the brakes and clutch, they are working fine, the brake pedal is right to the top. runs and drives very nice.
