1996 Ford Bronco Description

This is my 1996 Bronco I have had it for about 12 years and am the third owner. The first two were and older couple and a Doctor who used it to pull his plane to an open field. I got it with around 47,000 miles on it. The Doctor repainted the truck and put the 5 16x10 Mickey Thompson wheels on it. It currently has 5 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ LT285/75R16 mounted with about 5,000 miles on them. The spare has never been on the ground. The paint still looks great, but it does have some dings and is scratched on the right passenger side. I had Warn hubs put on and now you never have to worry about whether or not it is in four wheel drive. At 112,000 miles I went through the entire truck and replaced or repaired everything I could to make it run and drive perfectly. The fuel filter, fuel pump, and fuel sending unit were replaced. The gas tank was emptied and thoroughly cleaned out. The broken gas gauge was fixed and it worked for one tank of gas : ( . I did not feel like going through that again. The transmission fluid was replaced and a new pan gasket and filter were installed. The engine oil and filter were changed. It has a brand new Duralast Gold Battery that I put in last month. I had all new keys cut for it. The AC was flushed and checked for leaks and now blows 38 degrees. The heater core had a leak and was also replaced. It has all new spark plugs and wires. The radiator was flushed and refilled. It has new brake pads and rotors in the front and new drums and shoes in the rear. The brake fluid was replaced as well. I installed 4 Bilstein B6 4600 shocks. The front hubs were greased and re-packed. I replaced the diodes in the digital compass/ temperature gauge and it won't be breaking again. The truck is ready to go now and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country. The Bronco also has a Clarion 675VD CD/DVD player that is hooked to Infinity Kappa component speakers and an Infinity 10" powered subwoofer. The component speakers are powered by a 100x4 Rockford Fosgate amp that is brand new. It is and older head unit, but it works great. I am including an old school Ipod that works perfectly with it. It is Sirius XM ready if you want to install that as well. It would also be very easy to install a new head unit if you wanted to. Needless to say the system sounds amazing, and watching a movie on it will make you want to sit in the driveway for the surround sound. It also has a Viper 474V alarm with Keyless entry and a glass break sensor. The truck has a few niggling issues the ABS light is on. I did pull the code, but at this time I haven't gotten it fixed. The gas gauge does not work. The rear bumper is bent on the left side. It has scratches on the passenger side fender and door. The driver's seat leather has started to give up as the Eddie Bauer's tend to do. Factory replacements are available. This is really a great Bronco one of the nicest and definitely one of the most mechanically sound lower mileage ones you will find in the U.S. Please ask as many questions as you can think of. I can provide more pictures if needed. It is located in Atlanta and is available for viewing. I will assist anyone with shipping or flying and riding if you want to pick it up that way. Good Luck!
