1974 Ford F-250 FREE SHIPPING! Description

1974 Ford F250 4x4 Show Truck: The sixth generation of the Ford F-Series is a line of pickup trucks and medium-duty commercial trucks that were produced by Ford from 1973 to 1979. These were the last generation of trucks to use the F-Series chassis introduced in 1965. After a decade as a compact SUV, the Bronco was redesigned as a shortened version of the F-Series. This generation also marks the introduction of the F-150, which today is the most popular model. Ford changed the sheet metal for the 1973 F-Series redesign, but not so much that buyers wouldn't recognize the pickup. Sales were climbing, and Ford sure didn't want to lose momentum by introducing a totally different look. Hood design was altered somewhat and a full inner structure was added -- both changes helped reduce hood shake and vibration. Galvanized inner front fender aprons and zinc coating with rust resistant primer helped prevent rust. Inner bed and wheel wells were now stamped to minimize seams and provide rounded corners and sides to floor contours, which made for easier cleaning. The trucks' former flat door glass became curved. Rear glass expanded by about a third and was tilted forward to reduce rear view mirror reflections during night driving. This generation is noted for the body panels' durability as Ford used extensive amounts of galvanized sheet metal to fight corrosion. In 1976, the F-Series became the best-selling trucks in America, a position it has continued to hold ever since.

Looking to get some attention and have some fun at the same time? Of course you are. Those are the 2 best parts about owning a classic vehicle and the whole reason you are reading this ad right now. Well, look no further, because this exceptional period-correct F250 is as eye-catching as they come. It's like you got in a time machine and when it stopped you were standing in the 1974 Houston Autorama holding a 1st place trophy with this big yellow beast in the background! There has obviously been a ridiculous amount of money spent building this truck that will never been recovered. But for only $40k you can save tens of thousands making it's twin and have a blast driving it at the same time. A professional re-paint in Yellow Pearl was completed in June of this year. Features and options on Big-Yella include; 390 V8, Manual, 4x4 w/Locking Hubs, PS, PB, Custom Lift w/Show Quality Components, Period Correct Interior, Custom Built Rollbars in Bed & Interior, Front-folding Front Clip, Hydraulic Tilt/Dump Bed, KC Lights & Speaker on Rollbar, New Shocks, Custom Skid Plate & Suspension, Split Sunroof, Diamond-plated Truck Bed, Sliding Rear Window, Dual Flowmaster Exhaust, Custom Paint, Lots of Chrome, NEW 16.5" Outlaw Chrome Rims, and 39x16.5 Mickey Thompson Baja Tires!
