1925 ROOF EIGHT SPEEDSTERNO RESERVE AUCTIONSEE VIDEO BELOW

You are bidding on a 1925 Model T Speedster with title. This Speedster was in storage for the last 30 years and was previously built for and competed in the 1980's Santa Clara Valley 200 mile Speedster Race as well as Hill Climb events. This Speedster was clocked at over 70mph!! Due to a death in the family it was stored until now! We removed the speedster from the storage facility where it was located and it was still in great condition . We removed the radiator ( was sent to be pressure tested and cleaned) we drained all fluids and then begin a full inspection. Once everything was cleaned internally and properly lubricated she started right up! This speedster really Roars!!This would be an easy project or leave it the way it is for the ultimate Patina'd Speedster Racer! Here are the specs for this Speedster build.
Engine:Model T 4cyl with a 1920 ROOF 8 OHV Conversion with original ROOF Side covers and Laurel Corp Valve cover ( extremely Rare .. been offered a $1000 for these alone, Original Winfield Model A Intake manifold and Model S down draft Carbureto, Fully Balanced and counter balanced Crankshaf, Fully Custom Camshaft spec'd for the gears and OH, High Compression Forged Piston, Hi capacity oil pan and Pressurized oiling syste, Bosch Distributer Conversion, This motor has an amazing throaty sound! and runs like a top!
Chassis:1925 Ford Model , Original Model T Dropped Axl, Reverse eyed Springs front and rea, Ruckstell 2 spd Rear Dif, Moddified Gear Ratio. Everything was rebuilt in the 1980's prior to storage but is still in great condition. The Steering is tight and rides straight. The wood wheels are still true and tight and appear to be road worthy.
Body:The Body was hand built and shows signs of its ag, the seats are worn and missing one seat pad . We would have liked to put a steel boat tail body on but never had the chance. All the lights work as well as the Horn. It has a Mono glass wind screen and is in good condition. This Speedster has the coolest shifter I have ever seen it appears to be 1930's possibly 40's era. It is inlayed with a Bakelite star and has engraving. The hood has beenmodifiedto be able to lift just the top passenger side hood top and "quick remove" bottom hood. The lettering is showing its age with "ROOF EIGHT, "Winfield, winged 3, on both sides of the hood.
