This is a 2002 Ford Excursion with the legendary 7.3L turbo diesel engine. This SUV only has 228k miles on it which if you are familiar with these power trains this is very low. The transmission is the automatic and the SUV is a four wheel drive. It runs very well and has a lot of power being a stock unmodified engine. A few months ago I had the alternator and batteries replaced.

The transmission shifts really well in this truck, no slipping, odd shifting, or any other issues I’ve noticed. I used this to tow once, I went about 8 miles with a pickup bed trailer. The original owner told me he once towed a 5x8 trailer one year to pick up a Christmas tree. I have a truck with a manual transmission I’ve used to primarily to tow with.

The interior of the truck is in absolutely excellent condition. The seats are all cloth and in excellent condition with no damage that I’ve seen. This is the highest seating capacity SUV built, it fits 9 people legally with several feet of room behind the third row. The floors are rubber/plastic which are really easy to keep clean. I just had the windshield replaced in it. All of the windows are tinted including the windshield so you cannot see inside of the vehicle. A couple months ago I installed a Pioneer BlueTooth DVD player in the dash in place of the original factory unit. Please see pictures for actual condition. All of the windows roll up and down very well as they should. The Edge monitor screen in the left corner is not included or for sale, its going into my brand new truck.

The exterior of the truck is in excellent condition. The paint and panels are all original, up until recently the vehicle was stored indoors in a climate controlled warehouse. I replaced the stock rear bumper with a 2015 unit that looks a whole lot nicer. When I changed the bumper I installed four aftermarket LED light pods so its extremely bright when you’re backing up. I installed HID headlight and fog light bulbs in place of the factory halogen parts.

This is the nicest used Excursion that I’ve seen since they were new. I know that I am going to regret selling it but that’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. The title is clean and clear from here in California. I have the actual title in hand, the smog certificate is current along with the registration.
