may be you might want to change some thing on like make it a stander 5 speed or put headers on it. now is the time to do the change's .
I bought a ford rebuilt automatic transmission off of a young girl down by pen state PA.she said it was rebuilt by ford and has low miles on it she put a stander in her mustang. she said there about $1,500.00 to buy a new rebuilt one from ford.
i did the work no pulling the old transmission out my self.
