1978 Ford Mustang Description

I'll try this listing again. I do have the means to haul the car. While it is the buyer's responsibility to get it, or arrange for such, I might be able to help with the transporting for some compensation. Also there is no hurry to get it off my place.
My daughter bought this car and loved it. The car originally had a v6 motor with automatic. But after she hit a deer and over heated the motor, I replaced it with a completely rebuilt 2.3L four cylinder and put a 5 speed tranny from a '79 mustang behind it. We had it running but could never get it to idle right. Needs a new carb (and throttle cable). There is less than 100 miles on the motor.
Needs some fixing up, but body is pretty good except for rust over right rear wheel, and needs some small corrections for what the deer did to the front and hood. See the pictures. The interior is black leather, with a few rips in the front two seat bottoms. Glass is all good.
It's all there with lots to work with to make a real sporty car.
