1929 Ford Model A Description

1929 Ford Model A Pick-Up, Traditional Hot Rod. 1929 Model A Chassis that is fully boxed, z-d in the rear, with a suicide mount for front end. 1947 Ford "x" member grafted into the center to add strength and support the transmission. Vega cross steering, 1969 master and clutch cylinders mounted under dash (hung pedals). Coker (Firestone) Wide White tires w/tubes mounted on steelie Wheels (front) & 10"x 15" (Firestone) Cheater slicks on Jenny wheels (rear). 1940 4" dropped axle, Custom cantilevered air bag front suspension hidden behind grille, panhard bar, 1935 Ford split wishbone radius arms, 1928 Ford spindles, 1939 backing plates and brake hardware, 1962 finned drums. 1947 Ford "Banjo" rear end with Winters "quick-change" center section w/4:11 gear ratio, 1939 Lincoln rear brakes. 1931 Model A pick-up Cab-rust free with a nice patina. Cab is chopped about 4", doors are reversed (Suicide) w/modified Model A hinges. All new wood frame kit inside. The bed is an NOS Model A tailgate and front panel with handmade louvered side panels. Low miles 1953 "Hemi" engine, rebuilt with less than 1500 miles since. Engine accessories include: vintage (marine) dual plane intake manifold, including custom billet adapters with dual Stromberg 2-barrel carburetors, and a "Batwing" air cleaner w/ K and N filters. Carbs are fully rebuilt (including new floats) and synchronized-runs great! Other accessories include: Joe Hunt HEI Distributer with Tach-Drive (looks like a magneto-super reliable), High Torque Mini-Starter, Taylor spark plug wires w/ 426 Hemi boot adapters, 30 degree oil filter adapter, Vintage "Industrial" Valve Covers (this is a true Firepower engine, not an Industrial), custom "Zoomie" headers with motorcycle baffles in each tube and farm tractor rain caps, custom 5-core radiator, one-wire alternator, all new gaskets, seals, wiring, belts, hoses-everything. Flywheel was turned and drilled for Muncie clutch set-up, 10-1/2" Clutch, Pressure Plate and Hydraulic Throw-out bearing. Hot Hemi Heads Aluminum transmission adapter, and motor mounts. Transmission: 1969 Muncie M-20, 4-speed that is rebuilt with all new brass, gears, bearings, seals, etc, custom "Roth" style shifter w/bloody eye knob, and custom Brookline Machine shortened and balanced drive shaft. Misc: All new Painless Wiring harness and all related accessories (switches, sending units, electric fan, relays-everything). Optima red top battery on Eastwood battery mat, mounted behind the dash, under the cowl. Titled (Arizona) as a 1929 Ford Pick-Up, and insured in Arizona. The Title is notarized.
