You are bidding on a 2013 Ford Taurus. This vehicle has been used for police work and now at 98, 527 miles, is being replaced. This car still has plenty of good miles left in it though. There is usual wear and tear that comes with driving a police car all these years. The driver’s seat has the usual teat on it that is seen from the officer’s duty belt catching and rubbing. The steering wheels in squad cars usually have a large chunk taken out for the same reason, but this one does not. There are three holes in the roof that are plugged from where the light bar used to be. One of them has tape over it from the picture. The very front of the vehicle has some cracked plastic around the bottom. It looks like and officer may have struck a parking block. The pictures show the car with the police markings. The city has the duty to remove police markings before the vehicle can be sold. I photographed the VIN and description sticker because I don’t know exactly which engine is in this car.
If you have any questions about the car, please feel free to contact Deputy Chief Reed at 217-345-4014 or email him at cereed099@gmail.com. All sales are final, for obvious reasons we cannot guarantee this vehicle for any reason. Payment is expected within 2 weeks as well. If other arrangements are needed, please call to work them out.
