2002 Ford Explorer Description

This vehicle has been our family vehicle for the past 10 years. We purchased it from Carmax in Greenville, SC in 2005. It has been garage kept for the last 10 years and we have maintenance and repair records for all service. It has recently had new front brakes (2-3 years), new tires (1-2 years), shocks and struts (one year) and new power steering pump and lines (January). Additional features include:

The only known mechanical issue is that there is a CD stuck in the CD player, otherwise it has no known or apparent mechanical or electrical problems. This explorer has just been thoroughly detailed and while there are a few dings and scrapes, there is nothing of significant note that one would not expect on a higher mileage vehicle. There are no unpleasant odors and the vehicle has never been smoked in (I'm allergic to cigarette smoke). There are no visible fluid leaks and it has no visible body rust. Both our mechanic and I have been very impressed at how clean the underbody and frame are on this car, for having been in Michigan the past nine years and having nearly 170k miles on it, it is a very clean and rust free vehicle. We are only selling because we will be expanding our family and will need a bigger vehicle.
