...my name is Tom I am a licensed mechanic and PA diesel truck dealer with experience going back to the early 1970's. For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up?That was me....itis whereI started my journey into the car business, at 14 I walked down to my uncles Texaco station in south central PA, after football practice, I'dput on my striped shirt and greeted the customers filled them up, checked the oil, washed the windows and whatever else I could do to get tips;). He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened a small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. If you give me the opportunity I promise I will do everything in my power not to let you down...I know theseoldcumminsdiesel/and 7.3'strucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast. Looks good runs good, I bought this out in /Washington State where rust does not exist, clean body and frame no rust, fires right up good batteries and injectors, runs strong cluch in almost new, as well as like new rubber. Tight front end, new master cyl, ice cold air, good interior, this truck has many many more years left in it,. Truck is ready to work, just fly in drive home, but few things worth mentiniong, exterior has some parking lot/ work truck dings and bings, rock chips and small scratches, interior has minor wear and tear, small crack on winshield above rear view mirror, normal syncro grind in 2nd if you aggressively shift it, I dint have a helper when I installed new brake cly should be bleed, but all normal minor stuff, have it priced to sell real quick,,,, also have a few loaded up crews like this for tons more money don't call about them just keep an eye out on ebay will post when they are ready,,,,thanks Diesel Tom 717 991 0568 |
