2006 Ford Escape Description

Recently purchases from a public auction. Brakes, tires and the power steering pump were replaced and are new. The car comes with the flowing desclamer. I drove the car for about a week and everything seemed in order but one morning while at a stop sign the motor turned off a red triangle appeared on the dash and a warning to stop safely and restart the vehicle. I took it to the Ford dealer to see if they could sort it out. I was told that they had to remove the upper intake to continue diagnosticts per the TSB, which is about a 5hr job.
