You are looking at a really nice 32 Ford Street Rod Project that the previous owner did not finish because of health issues. The fiberglass body was bought several years ago at Carlisle and came with the power windowed doors & deck lid already hinged & installed. This 3 window coupe body is made to look like an original and the roof is not chopped. As you can see in my photos, the doors open suicide style and all of the wood & metal supports & framing are already installed inside the body. Included with the body is the dashboard, interior window garnish moldings & custom made brake pedal. I did not receive a steering column, seats, upholstery or a windshield frame. The body is bolted to the frame. The chassis started out as an original 32 Ford, but was sent out to a custom builder who used both of the original frame rails, gas tank, front & rear spreader bars, and the front wishbones. He reconstructed this beautiful chassis around those original parts. The front chrome drop axel was bought new from Bell with disc brakes. The rear end came from a 1957 Chevy and was professionally modified specifically for this application. The brake system is completely new all the way around including new power booster, proportioning valve & stainless steel lines. The BF Goodrich wide whitewall radial tires & chrome reverse wheels were all bought new at Coker. The small block Chevrolet engine is a 1993 5.7 350 cubic inch with 4-bolt mains that has low mileage. The original throttle body fuel injection was removed and a new aluminum intake manifold was installed along with a chrome oil pan, timing cover & chrome valve covers. The transmission is a 350 turbo, however it is just an empty case with no internals and was used just as a mock up for the engine installation as the previous owner was still undecided on whether to use an automatic or stick transmission. This chassis is professionally painted with a base coat clear coat Mopar Plum Crazy with everything else being chrome plated or painted gloss black. This 32 Ford was being built as a traditional Old School Highboy Hot Rod with no fenders or hood. The last several photos show extra items that he gathered up and will be included with the sale of the car including: 4 new Fiberglass fenders, Original grill insert with fiberglass radiator shell and a Fiberglass front splash apron. As this car is basically a kit car being built from many different parts there is no title or vin tag. Here in Pennsylvania, you finish the car, take it to the State Police where they inspect it and issue you a reconstructed title & tag. I will provide a notarized bill of sale if needed. Please understand you are bidding to buy, not to be the first one to look. If you need to examine this 32 Ford you are more than welcome and I recommend that you do so. I am not interested in any trades. Even for the do-it-yourselfer, this will be an easy project to finish as most of the hard work has already been done. My realistic reserve is a whole lot less than what is actually tied up in this project. Thank you for spending the time to look and good luck bidding!
