This 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 has undergone a complete restoration. I have recently purchased the car in South Carolina and it was southern car it’s whole life. It is a very nice car for anyone to enjoy without breaking the bank. Nevertheless, the Mustangs from these years now are getting some respect from car collectors. This is a real Mach 1. The 1971-73 Ford's fastback Mustangs, the 1972 Mach 1 however, its flashy looks makes it a popular classic car.
This car is nice inside, out, and underneath. It was restored the paint is very nice.Basically everything on the car is either new or rebuilt. The paint is Gold with Black interior and Black Mach 1-stripes, rear window louvers and front and rear spoiler, the color combo is stunning. The car has a quality paint job on it and is straight down the sides. No rust issues with this car it was a Southern car and owned by the previous owner for over 23 years. Before it was painted, the car was completely rust free. All chrome and trim is all very nice.
The drive train is fresh also, it has a 351ci Cleveland with 10.5 to 1 compression, the motor has been rebuilt and has a slightly oversized cam for a good lumpy idle it starts and runs very strong. The car comes with power steering, power disc brakes and a C-6 3-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit making it very drivable. Newer 275/40ZR/17 tires have been mounted on polished torque thrust wheels and looks very nice. Exhaust is newer also and sounds really, really nice.
Like everything else, the interior is nice with the factory console. The car has a factory tach, with an aftermarket am/fm/cassette radio in the dash. The Dash pad, door panels, carpet, headliner, sun visors, over all everything is nice.
This car is clean everywhere you look, great for local cruise-ins and a few local shows and should get a trophy or two.I would encourage anyone who wants to buy this car to come and inspect this car. Give me a call first at 517-990-2646 and I will give you an honest overview.
