2003 Ford F-250 Description

Introduction

Thanks for reading my ad. Please take the time to read over all of the description and feel free to email me if you have further questions. If you are local, you can come and inspect/drive the truck, but no tire kickers/joy riders.

Up for your consideration today is a very low mileage, rare 2003.25 (Job #1) F-250 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4 with the 6 3/4' Bed. Since this is a early Job #1 2003 truck, it is equipped with a variant of the T444E, also known as the legendary 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel engine. This truck belonged to my father who drove it very little on the occasional road trip. It has been garage kept since 2003 except for the past year. Truck is in excellent condition.

Exterior

The Exterior is finished in Dark Toreador Metallic The paint is shiny and shows that it was well cared for. There are a few minor scratches mainly on the drivers side(see photos). All four of the Lariat five spoke aluminum wheels are matching and in excellent condition. Tires are a matching set ofnew Firestone Transforce AT ‘s with less than a couple thousand miles. All exterior lighting works without an issue. The truck has an Undercover hard bed cover installed which can be easily removed. The bed covers pneumatic struts were recently replaced. There is also a slide-in style plastic bed liner installed. All windows work. The windshield has no cracks or dings. There is a small dent on the right side and middle of the front bumper(see photo).

Interior

The interior is finished in grey leather and is in like new condition. There are no tears or stains in the leather and it is in excellent condition. The carpet is in excellent condition, with no tears or stains. The interior has no funny smells/odors. This truck was owned by a non-smoker. All lights work inside the cab. The door panels and wood grain trim are all in excellent condition. The Ford Audiophile in dash 6 CD Stereo and speakers workperfectly. Controls on the doors work fine are not damaged. No major squeaks or rattles noticeable within the cab. All power locks and power windows work perfectly. Power seats work normally.

Mechanical

This 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel engine is in excellent condition. The truck fires right up with no abnormal noise, smoke, vibrations etc. And there are no leaks. The brakes are in good shape with little wear and stop the truck straight and true. The 4R100 automatic transmission operates smoothly and responsively. This truck is completely stock/unmolested and has ZERO performance modifications that I am aware of. The truck drives tight and stops well. There are no weird shaking or rattles or noises. The heating and cooling all work well as they were designed to.

Other items

I have one set of keys with remote. I have the original owners manual and current Texas registration on the truck.
