1957 Ford Custom 300 2 door Description

In this sale I am offering my 1957 Ford Custom 300 2 door. Ford people know how rare these cars are and how hard to find a good one. This is far better than a good one. I bought this car from a man that owned it for 18 years. He bought it in California and took it with him to South Dakota where it stayed in his garage. The car was re-done in 2001 and wears 1998 Ford Light pine green metallic paint. It still shows great. The engine is a 351 Windsor compliments of a 1969 Mustang and has a C4 transmission with a 9" rear with 3.56 gears.Electric wipers, pusher radiator fan with dash switch, Custom Autosound radio all work. Brakes are power drum and stop better than most of my other vehicles. It still sports the power assisted steering. Wheels are REV 15" 6's and 8's. Tires are 215/70 front and rear. The only body repair that I am aware of is I believe the passenger floor has been replaced as have all 57's that I have owned. (caused by heater leaks). The interior had been done when I got it but I replaced the carpet. Chrome and stainless is excellent and gold insert has been replaced with quality reproduction pieces. This is the nicest Custom series I have owned and although it is tough to turn loose, I am confident it will make someone a fine car. No trades please as I am cleaning out.
