Up for auction, with no reserve is a 1955 Ford F-100 Custom cab. Bought many many years ago by an established custom car builder for a future restoration project with all the various components needed for the build slowly acquired since. Unfortunately, no one is getting any younger... and moving to a new shop/house plus the current project list has prompted the decision to sale as she sits instead of build.
The truck is in project state, it is not currently drivable, it will need to be towed on a flatbed, and it needs a full restoration. While it does not have title, a Bill of Sale will be provided along with any other paperwork necessary for the buyer to title it. If your state is one of the difficult ones to get a new title on an old vehic, then we can work out the details of my obtaining a title in NV for you. This isn't super costly, just a little time consuming. The truck was last registered in CA and has been out of the DMV system for decades.
This truck has spent its life in CA and NV - Verystraight and rust free body. Currently, it has a 318 Mopar engine, but is otherwise, very original.
Everything collected for the build will come with the truck: a good running 351 long block from a 90's Bronco; two good transmissions, a C6 and an AOD; the rear fenders; box(es) of miscellaneous parts.
The pictures do not and can not give the truck justice!! It is a phenomenal starting point for someone hoping to achieve a very profitable end-of-restoration result! NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit is required immediately via PayPal and the remaining balance to be paid in full (cash, certified check or money order) when the vehicle is picked up. The deposit is non-returnable to deter non-serious buyers from bidding.
Local pickup only - I would prefer to have the new owner be present when finalizing the sale/picking up the truck but understand if that is not possible. The Buyer will be responsible for all accounts of shipping; Seller will assist with coordination of efforts and paperwork if need be. Please do not contact me for shipping quotes! The truck is located in NV; 89429 zip code. Seller will store the vehicle for 30 days at no charge. If more time is needed, the truck will have to be moved to the Sellers new location at the Buyers expense.Seller retains the right to sell the car locally and will end auction to do so.
