1966 Ford Mustang Description

This '66 Mustang convertible was originally purchased by Wallace Leber at Tom's Ford in Keyport, NJ. In 1970 it was sold to another gentleman. The third and current owner bought it in 1994.
Many components in this car are original however it has been repainted red. It was originally paint code Z,SauterneGold.
The owner believes that the mileage is correct at about 69,850. The car starts instantly and runs smoothly and quietly. The transmission shifts smoothly as well. The driver's seat is split at some seams and there is a cut in the edge of the convertible top. The convertible top goes up and down without a problem. The paint could use a good buffing, the front bumper is lightly pitted, the rear more so. The other chrome is on good condition. The whitewall tires are not new. The frame looks solid with no rust through although surface rust is apparent. There is some bubbling in the quarter panels.The original owner's manual comes with the car.
This car can be driven as it is or may be the subject of a rolling restoration so it can be enjoyed while it is brought to the new owner's needs and wants. Call for more information.

A 30 day Pennsylvania In-Transit tag is available for out of state buyers to insure you can legally drive your vehicle home with no hassle. You must supply proof of insurance and an ID. When we process the title to this vehicle it will have the buyer’s name and address recorded on it. We will not provide titles that are incompletely filled out or blank. Pennsylvania residents provide Pennsylvania ID and insurance card and must pay applicable sales taxes, license, documentation and title fees.
