2004 Ford Mustang GT Description

2004 Mustang GT Convertible
The car is a 40th Anniversary GT with 28,860 original miles. It is equipped with the premium options package that includes hood, lower rocker, and trunk stripes, upgraded sound system, leather interior, and chrome wheels. All 2004 models included the 40th Anniversary emblems on the front fenders which are nicely designed. The power train on the car is Ford's 4.6L 8 cylinder engine, rated at 260hp, with the 4 speed automatic transmission. Additionally, as mentioned below, an upgraded cold air intake and custom tune have been added for additional horsepower.
Exterior: The color of the car is Dark Shadow Grey with black convertible top. The black striping on the car is in good shape with no cracking or peeling. The paint is near flawless with bright luster and no chips, dings, etc. The wheels are 17" chrome with stock Mustang center caps, and also are in excellent shape. The tires are relatively new with lots of remaining tread, P255 40ZR 17's front and back.
Interior: The interior is light grey leather that offers a nice contrast to the darker exterior color. Bucket seats up front with console, power windows, locks, driver's seat, convertible top, Mach 460 sound system with AM/FM and a 6 CD player. There are no cuts or tears on any seating area, and all lights, controls, A/C, etc work as intended. The original (2) key fobs and original owners manuals are also included.
Improvements Made to the Car: Since owning the car for the past two years, I've made the following improvements to set the car apart from similar vehicles, most of the parts are from American Muscle which produce and sell many after market parts for Mustangs.
1) Shorty Antenna 2) New under hood insulation 3) Hood Strut Kit to eliminate the stock prop rod 4) Stainless Steel "Mustang" door sill plates 5) New GT Floormats 6) Sequential Tail Light Kit 7) SR Performance Cold Air Intake 8) Bama Performance Tuner with two custom tunes (I have the 91 octane tune loaded, and have not yet loaded the 93 octane tune. The stock 87 octane tune that came with the car can easily be reloaded if so desired) 9) Car Cover. Earlier this year I had the front end aligned, installed a new battery, and had the car tuned up at a local Ford dealership.
Summary: This is a very clean Mustang convertible, with low mileage, that is nicely equipped, with no accidents, or abuse selling at a reasonable price. I'm selling the car primarily because my wife rarely drives it, and we have multiple other cars. We've used the car primarily to take to local cruises, to the mall, and drives on nice days. If you have any questions, please call or Email. My phone number is 412-655-1178, ask for Gary. The car is being sold as is, with the buyer responsible for pick-up or all shipping charges. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required via Paypal within 24 hours after the auction closes, with the balance due by certified check within seven days thereafter. The car and title will be released only after the check clears the bank.
Thanks for your interest in the car.

Please Note: I've received comments that Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) values the car at $9250.00. Please keep in mind that kbb valuations are for cars of this type in stock configuration. As described above this car is not stock with many add ons and recent maintenance items that were costly to implement, and seem reasonable with the current reserve price of $10,250.00.
