1997 Ford F-150 Description

1997 Ford F150 4x2 Oxford White. This is a Southern Truck. Purchased in Tennessee. but it spent most of it's life in Georgia. I bought it to use the box for another project and installed a fiberglass Step Side as I started to prep it for restoration. I have only driven it a few miles since purchasing. Being sold as-is.
The sheet metal on this truck, cab, rockers doors, sub-frame, structure is completely rust free. look closely. If you have been in or seen trucks of this vintage you will know what can rust out on the body structure, cab, rockers, and doors - no issue with that here...look at the photos. There are a few bumps and dings. Both rockers are solid but have been pushed up in the front and will need to be straightened (right side is shown in a photo). There is some red Tennessee dirt that I wiped away to show how clean the body is. It is fairly easy to work on because the fasteners are not rusted.
This is an XL 4x2 4.6L V8 4-speed automatic. Tires hold air and are solid, but only 2-3 mm of tread left. The engine starts and runs. The transmission shifts fine. A/C blows cold. Oil pressure is great. Alternator Great. New plugs and wires. The problem: You wouldn't notice the issue when starting and driving right away, but after a while when it warms up, the engine will begin to run a little rough. It has been diagnosed as having a head gasket issue, and over time its coolant level will drop.
The box is Blue, and is from a northern truck. The sides are fiberglass and are solid. The inside has some rust holes in the box itself. It has a full bed-liner which covers the holes. The tailgate is in very good condition. Bumpers are in great condition.
I planned to fix the engine and restore the truck, but just don't have the time.
