1965 Ford Mustang Description

Up for sale is a project I've had for a number of years, and ran out of time and space to finish.

Car was originally a 289 3 speed car. I replaced the motor with a big block 428 4v c6 automatic, but in order to install the larger motor I had to have a local rod shop install a new Heidts Mustang II front suspension, with rack and pinion steering, and tube upper and lower A arms. The engine is from a 1965 Galaxie. It has 1000 miles on it after rebuild and trans is fresh rebuild with 2800 stall/shift kit. The motor has been shifted back in the engine bay eleven inches. With that said, the heater has been deleted. The motor has 400 horse and 456 torque with MSD ignition and twin cooling fans. I had to upgrade the rear end to accommodate for the power, so I installed a shortened 8.8 3.73 limited slip disc brakes rear end, new leaf springs and mini tubbed also. I replaced the rear sub frame, trunk floor and inner outer wheel housings. I also replaced the rear quarter panels, rear tail light panel, rear valance, new floor pans, shaved the drip rails and smoothed the front cowl panel, with windshield wiper deleted. Dash has been customized with wiper switch deleted and smoothed also. Gas tank and gas lines are new. It has 4 wheel dics brakes. I have lots and lots of new parts (see pictures). I have new wire harness that is about 70 percent complete. I have driven it around the yard last summer. Thanks for looking.

Windshields not glued, just staged, Also bumpers, seats, dash bezel, and glove box are staged not bolted in place, Also have a lot of parts included like new carpet, weather stripping, power steering pump and chrome mounting bracket, chrome that mounts around windshields.

Vehicle needs to be trailered.

Thanks
