Up for your review is this stunning, show quality 1929 Ford Model A Woody Sedan Delivery, built from the ground up in my friend's shop over a period of 3 years with just over 5,000 miles. A one of a kind hot rod that stands out among its participants at car shows and cruise nights. Think about it, how many Woody hot rods have you seen lately withsuch high quality craftsmanship? Greg's passion for Woody hot rodswilleventuallysee his own line of Woody hot rods in the very near future for discriminating customers... And I'm proud to admit that I myself will be involved in this business as well.
The body starts with the cowl of a '29 Model A and the wood body is made from light maple with stained mahogany to compliment the Corvette burgundy metal flake paint. A very nice contrast and design element, considering most Woody's show common light wood throughout its structure. Note that every piece of wood is handcrafted and finished with a UV coating to protect from the sun's rays. Please note the hood is included, but not shown in these pictures. Why cover a nicely detailed mill - your choice.
Inside, you are greeted by custom leather seats with black suede inserts, accented with purple piping to compliment the exterior. There's even a custom hideaway seat for extra passengers when needed, with seat belts. A nicely chromed accent in the dash hold the required gauges to keep you informed. A custom steering wheel mounted on a chromed tilt wheel and e-brakeequipped, all adds to the comfort and safety of driving this little A.
A chromed out 350 Chevy roller engine supplies the motorvation and reliability that a small block delivers with plenty of horsepower on tap, well over 400 and less than 5,000 miles!Equipped withaluminum heads and 2.02 valves, chrome Edelbrock valve covers, Edelbrock chrome Enduroshine intake with a dual quad setup add to thedazzle and throttle response. Cooling is provided by dual electric fans mounted to a radiator fitted nicely in its chromed model A grille. Power is transmitted to a Turbo 350 and shifted through a Lokar shifter. Up front, a chromed rack & pinion insists on a smooth ride. Out back,a beautifully detailed Jaguar rear end is accented by 4 chrome coil-overs and inboard rear brakes. Greg spared no expense with his Woody and values this car well over 100K if you were to commission a professional shop to build with labor. You can imagine how fun it is to drive such a unique hot rod anywhere you please to go - in style!

Since the Woody's completion, this Model A has not been to a national event like the NSRA Street Rod Nationals or Good Guy's events, where a unique rod like this one would really stand out for the new owner! Since my own involvement in a hot rod & custom magazine a number of years ago, Greg's Model A Woody is just waiting for the chance for some national magazine to shoot a spread on her! BID TO WIN!!!
