2005 Ford Explorer Description

This is for a 2005 Ford Explorer XLS Retired First Responder
I am going to be as forthcoming about the condition as it sits now. Anything that transpires after you pick it up will be news to me.
The vehicle came from Northern Ohio, which is why there are rusted areas in the back end by the rear tires...they use a lot of heavy duty salts in the winter and it's from kickback. The interior is in great shape, there is a rip in the side of the drivers side seat as pictured and some sort of yellow paint stain on the passenger side, which I'm sure with a little elbow grease, will come out. It is cloth interior, dark grey.
The lights, siren, and megaphone/loudspeaker are all in working order. The cb has been removed, however, you would need to install your own. It has reflective stripes on the sides and rear.

I just had the exhaust all replaced, it was rusted out. The vehicle passed safety and emissions testing in Missouri one month ago. Mechanically, it has no problems as of today. What I am going to note, however, is that for some time now, on occasion if you are trying to throw it in reverse and try move quickly, the transmission is a little pissy. It's been doing that, is "normal" for this vehicle and is not an immediate threat. I drive the vehicle as it should be, cautiously, and I rarely have a problem. It starts, runs, goes and gets there. Over really bumpy roads you can tell perhaps the rear shocks will need to be replaced soon, but it's fine and not noisy at all on normal roads. The radio works, however, the light is out so you don't know what station you are actually on, nor can you see what time it is.
The vehicle currently has 98XXX miles on it.
