The 2003 Ford Thunderbird continues to impress right where the well-awarded 2002 model left off. A powerful 3.9-liter V8 engine gives the little car ample pep, and with the convertible top down, the ride is fun.

The engine is rated at 280 horsepower. Gas mileage is as expected, around 20mpg on city and highway combined.

The 2003 Thunderbird is loaded with the extras and styling you would expect from a luxury vehicle.

Though Ford never intended to have this color on the retro, it does exist on several 02 and 03 models customized by Galpin Ford of California as one of theirGalpinized(offsite link) Thunderbirds. Galpin used a 1957 color called Dusk Rose, a color used on the 1957 Ford Thunderbird. You might call the Galpinized Tbirds "Code 2 or code 3" in diecast lingo. There have also been some owners that have custom painted their Thunderbird "pink".

OK thanks to a nice lady I have gotten more info on this car then before. SO IT TURNS OUT THAT GALPIN MADE 10 OF THESE PINK CARS. 5 FOR THE FACTORY AND 5 AFTERWARDS. THIS WAS ONE AFTERWARDS. I do not know much about the car. My customer who bought the car simply bought because they liked the color of it. We are doing our best to help them sell the car.
