1962 Ford Falcon Description

Greetings fellow ebay car enthusiasts! I have decided to sell my 1962 Falcon Station Wagon and will provide a brief rundown of the car for you. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. This wagon has been completely redone to reflect a beach buggy or surf wagon theme. Car was completely stripped down, all new floors were welded in, from the firewall to the rear cargo area, seam sealed and insulated for heat and sound. The door handles were shaved (front doors operate with remote poppers), exterior trim removed and all rust was removed and replaced with metal, body was painted inside and out and reassembled. The engine is a completely rebuilt 302, done by a local speed and machine shop, .060 overbore, crank .010 under, mild cam, Edelbrock intake and Holley 600. Transmission is a rebuilt C-4 with a new mild stall converter. The rear is an open 8" with highway gears, 3.08 if I remember correctly. The wagon has all new steel lines, front disc brake conversion with rear drum brakes, dual reservoir master cylinder with adjustable brake proportioning valve. This car will drive anywhere without issue. The interior was completely redone from the new headliner to the fresh carpet. All seats and door panels were professionally done in a custom true tuck and roll in classic black and white. The wagon has all new glass seals, new windshield and quarter glass. Rear cargo area was done in wood and stainless for a custom surfwagon look. Everything works as it should. The wagon has been together for 6 years but has not been driven extensively. It has been used for local shows and is always a hit. I hate to sell it but honestly am not using it much, have other cars and to many projects to complete. That's about it, as I said ask any questions you might have and good luck! The cost of shipping or pickup will be the buyers responsibility, I will help in whatever way I can. I would ask for a $500 deposit immediately after auctions end, Paypal is fine. I will accept a personal check but I will hold the car until I know the check clears. I prefer to let the auction run to it's conclusion and not pull the listing but if I have local interest I reserve the right to do so. I won't disclose my reserve but I will say you couldn't find and buy a station wagon and do everything that has been done for it. If you like it, bid what you are willing to pay, you won't be disappointed!LOWERED RESERVE........got close last time so I lowered the reserve and if you bid just a little higher you will own a really nice car!!
